Pet Cargo 800 not just for air travel says Pet Stuff Resale

In fact it feels a little lightweight to me for air travel, but this is a
UK product and a dog flew from London to Houston in it and it is
in excellent condition.
It has multiple great features. The storage tray on top is good sized, doesn't take up space inside the crate, but also removeable for when it is not needed.
The wheels are also removeable, but I like the wheels for a nontravel reason. This would be great for fostering puppies or kittens(only when small) and cleaning is much easier when a crate can be rolled around.
The dual opening and removeable door is great also for the cleaning factor.
Yet another feature that I have never seen on any other crate
are the holes in each corner. This is for anchoring during transit;
while I do not care for crates in the back of trucks, I have to do it myself at times and we are in Texas, "The Truck State"!
The food and water containers are also larger than most. In every other plastic crate I have seen, every size crate has the same size container. That is a not a good option for bigger dogs traveling and looks to me like just a cost saving item from the manufacturer. I say cut corners elsewhere.
This multi use huge (29.5x30x41)crate is sold new for 134.00 on websites I have seen. At Pet Stuff Resale it is 80.00.

Multiple uses for pet cages

One of the fun things about my job is finding different uses for cages.
My favorite was the large flight cage for finches that was next used to house 2 snakes.
This is a ferret/rabbit/small mammal cage that could also be used to
acclimate feral kittens. I've used it as a playyard for small puppies.
As with every item at Pet Stuff Resale, it is disinfected before being sold.
It has more ramps and is 60.00.
Pet Stuff Resale is a great place for people who foster animals!

Thanks to foster homes a few older dogs find forever homes thru CAP

Citizens for Animal Protection is able to adopt out a few older and less adoptable dogs and cats thanks to an extensive foster home system. Due to the overwhelmingly numbers, shelters are usually

not able to have these babies take up cage space since they take longer to get adopted. These "older dog" foster homes shoulder the responsibility of finding homes often thru their networking and the shelter website and screen homes for suitability. They frequently take on the financial side also.

These are 3 lucky dogs that the 2 foster homes kept for over a year until the right adopter came along. Gomez, the black chihuahua, went with a wonderful lady who prefers older dogs and has adopted from CAP before.

Baby, the blonde, went to a man who has privately rescued a chihuahua before and already had a chihuahua from the SPCA. Baby has been known to shop on Ebay and sneaks in with her owner to places where dogs are not supposed to go! She is so charming that people look forward to her visits.

2Bits, a precious little 2 pounder when he was found is now 3 lbs and awaiting surgery to fix a knee. I raised funds for him by charging people .25 to pet him.
Of course most people gave quite a bit more! He is now in a wonderful home with several other older dogs including Rocky, another older chihuahua adopted from CAP
a couple of years ago.
These are rare success stories and all 3 of these homes feel blessed to have their older babies. Please consider adopting an older dog or cat.
