It is SO nice and squishy! The bed part is plush as well, many of them are great on the sides, but the dog lays on the base where the layers are often skimpy. This could be for big cats as well, it has both dog and cat figures on it. 14.00 SOLD

I am pleased with the quality of all of these items

Please keep Elfin the chihuahua puppy in your thoughts next week; he is having extensive orthopedic surgery on Monday. His FB page is "Elfin the chihuahua needs new knees"

Update:

Unfortunately, Elfin had to be euthanized during surgery. His FB page is being kept to showcase other dogs needing medical assistance.

Dog items/TALL cat tree in at Houston's Pet Stuff Resale

N2N medium crate, not recommended for airline travel 16x17x23
door opens either side -in excellent condition 18.00 SOLD

Retro double diner in excellent condition 7.00

This tree is a whopping 6ft, 9in tall. It will take a while to refurbish and cost is not quite determined. It depends on my source for the sisal; probably between 115.00 and 125.00.
It is not recommended for kittens or senior cats. There are so many requests for tall trees
that it is being shown in the "before" condition so it can be reserved.

This whale baby tub is great for small dogs or kittens. It is 7" in at the deepest point, 30" total length, 17" of which is useable space, 12" wide 9.00

Dog Faces in the Crowd

More fun for me  is getting to work around so many dogs. In my travels I see some great faces and finally started to photograph them. It's not part of Pet Stuff Resale but people like them so much, this feature has become part of the company blog.

Abba was spotted at Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic. Four years old, she was at her adoption kennel for a year when her now owner came by just to walk a dog....and he didn't want another big dog:)

I met Cammy today as she was leaving Gulf Coast after having a paw removed and ACL surgery. A patient of Dr Beale's, she was escorted out in seriously neat  rolling transportation by not one but two care takers!

Gus is a wonderful example of a wonderful breed. Such a happy boy at Chestnut Animal Hospital....

This incredible pug is almost 16 years old and still has great hearing, sight and heart function. His daddy is a softie when it comes to his baby. I am sorry I forgot his name-was at Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic. He had a girl pug buddy who died at 10 last year, like many breeds it's tough to just have one pug.

Spencer and his mom were also at Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic. He is one of three pugs in the family.

Emma Hope has a very murky immediate past. She showed up in a dog run at Kingsland Blvd Vet Clinic with no information at all.. My wonderful bud Greta Jean has added her to her  dachsie/greyhound household. Emma Hope is 11 or 12 years old and settling in quite nicely.

yes, I am partial to pugs:)

Houston veterinarians shop at Pet Stuff Resale!

Dr Kathy Sutton is a repeat customer at Pet Stuff Resale as well as a great friend to rescue while she was a practicing vet. She has helped many foster dogs in the years I have known her. My favorite "save" of hers

was a wonderfly mellow dachshund who came into a shelter about ready to whelp and with a major load of heartworms, not  a dog a shelter could usually save. Dr Sutton was able to spay her and save all 4 puppies!

Sweetness was treated for heartworms and adopted out. (She and her daughter Faith Abby have both been mentioned in this blog)

Dr Sutton is pictured here with her own precious rescue dog, whose owner no longer wanted. I wish I had taken a closeup of his holiday attire, he likes to wear outfits. She was buying large dog crates and an x pen from meand I met her at her former vet clinic to deliver; I keep on the look out for certain dog items she likes. I can do that for you also! Dr Sutton was also wearing a beautiful (ok I am going to be tacky here, HUGE) new diamond wedding ring, a present from her husband Mike for their 30th wedding anniversary on Jan 5th. Congrats to both of them.

Dr Bill Folger, cat vet expert, ordered a new 6 ft cat tree for his wife Michelle for Christmas, sort of. He said it was also to keep the cats off the tree! I suspect it helped but not completely! I delivered it to his house and

he was nice enough to help me as the 6 footers are BIG and HEAVY. Thanks to Michelle for fostering about 50 cats/kittens in 2009.

Dr Folger ordered from Pet Stuff Resale because Dr Courtney Forbes had gotten a cat tree from me and liked it so much and must have mentioned it to Dr Folger when she took her cat to him..

Dr and Mrs Burda of Jester Plaza  Vet Clinic are also repeat customers at Pet Stuff Resale-they like to buy

new wire crates for overflow  boarders. I delivered to them also this holiday season.

Thanks to all of them and to you for being customers and fans of me and my business!

Cleopatra gets a new home and a new dog crate from Pet Stuff Resale.

This precious baby was a stray and luckily someone took her to a Houston shelter.More luckily for her, a nice lady named Paige and her daughter Maddie adopted her. A two year old fluffy maltese/shih tzu mix, her full name is Cleopatra, Queen of Denial!

Cleo is shown here in her new crate from Pet Stuff Resale where she is very happy for sleepy time. Otherwise she thinks her familys life mission is to keep her tummy rubbed!

With my rescue background I am also pleased when a dog is adopted from a shelter. Thanks to this family for that and for their crate shopping choice.
