Retro double diner in excellent condition 7.00

This tree is a whopping 6ft, 9in tall. It will take a while to refurbish and cost is not quite determined. It depends on my source for the sisal; probably between 115.00 and 125.00.
It is not recommended for kittens or senior cats. There are so many requests for tall trees
that it is being shown in the "before" condition so it can be reserved.

This whale baby tub is great for small dogs or kittens. It is 7" in at the deepest point, 30" total length, 17" of which is useable space, 12" wide 9.00
Elfin bolted a nanosecond later when he figured out it was a BATHTUB!

2 unusual dog items and a cat themed blanket at Pet Stuff Resale

Big dogs love these beds, many prefer to nap in an elevated area and toddler beds are perfect! This one is in very good condition.

The mattress is a Simmons BeautyRest "Elegance"

This blanket is actually brown and light tan. This looks like a postcard is a picture taken on my cell phone camera. It looked very good on my bed:)

The other dog item is a white metal crib on rollers that would be great for either foster puppies or post surgery dogs that need to stay quiet. Geriatric dogs that are too fragile for mingling with more active dogs but still want to be part of the gang would also do well in this crib. (Picture at the end of the blog shows the bed folded up w/o the mattress and base.) It is 24"x39" and the bar spacing is 2", so little heads cannot get stuck in them.(Kitten heads could get thru them).

This is one of the neatest things to ever come into Pet Stuff Resale; the rolling makes it easy to move around, it's easy to keep clean, it's multi purpose. Wait, it also folds up! The bottom removes and it can be used with or without the mattress. Little paws cannot climb the smooth metal.

Many thanks to my associate Nancy who found the 2 beds, she ferret outs some neat stuff while looking for books. Talk about networking; she adopted a greyhound from me in 1988!

Please subscribe to this blog if you haven't already and forward it to interested buds, as well as letting me know if you no longer want to receive it. I do not want to be intrusive. A portion of sales benefits rescue animals.

At Pet Stuff Resale: rabbit cage great for ferals, kittens!

The primary tenet of Pet Stuff Resale is to save people money. This rabbit cage is a perfect example. At 32.00, it is much less expensive than a Tokyo cage or even a dog crate when one is rescuing or fostering cats.   4 feet long, it is ample enough for acclimating a feral, especially with the ramp and shelf adding another level. It has both a top and front opening for safely changing food and water. It will take a little more creativity  changing out a litter box as the openings are smaller than a traditional litter box.To its advantage, the tall sides are great for containing litter, actually better than traditional cat habitats. It is ideal for kittens; they get climbing space without the cage being so tall they do not injure themselves as they learn balance. This cage is also very easy to clean.

I am now selling at BARC on Saturdays noon to 4 for people in central Houston and still near the Greater Good for those in West Houston on Sundays noon to 4. I can take products to either place. Please email for my cell number . You are welcome to subscribe to this blog and/or forward it to friends!

Stainless steel cages in at Pet Stuff Resale

Stainless steel is such a time saver in the pet world. It cleans faster than plastic(I have LOTS of experience
in this area!) , rarely stains and lasts longer than any other material I have ever seen.
This cage is intended for cats or small dogs and two are available. They measure 18x18x32. The picture looks a little distorted.

2 declawed cats dumped by different owners need happier ending

Frankie was left at a vet clinic overnight in a small crate with a note saying
his owner had lost their job. He is a 3 year old blue tabby and very l o n g.

Tucker was dumped at a shelter because his owner "no longer had time for him". He is a Siamese mix and VERY affectionate. Tucker is about 2 years old.

Both were so hissy at the shelter they could not be put up for adoption without some chill time, but have settled in nicely at my house. They are  with other cats and small dogs. There have been no issues living with cats that are not declawed.
